Shaan Shergill
Associate
Shaan joined Wisteria in October 2023 and works within the Accounts and Audit department.
Shaan studied Accounting & Finance at Swansea University. Outside of work, he enjoys playing and watching football, going to the gym, and socialising with friends.
What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?
I had always enjoyed maths and problem solving at school, and having family with some accounting experience, I naturally began to explore the accounting career path.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?
The thing I most enjoy about my job is being surrounded by a friendly team, who are always supportive, as well as learning about new concepts and ideas. The most challenging aspect of my role would have to be managing my workload during busier seasons.
What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?
The most important qualities for success would be having a keen eye for detail, and a willingness to learn. Being a recent Graduate myself, I feel it is important to always be asking questions to accelerate personal development.
