Kailum Patel
Associate
Kailum joined Wisteria in November 2022 and works within the Audit & Assurance department.
Kailum studied Economics at the University of Southampton. In his free time, he enjoys watching football and playing cricket as well as spending time with his family and friends.
What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?
I wanted a job in Finance that would challenge me but also wanted to work for a company that would help me develop my skill set. This is my first job in my preferred field since leaving University.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?
I enjoy most parts of the job but especially working with a great group of people and being able to go to client sites to work every now and then are the most enjoyable parts. The most challenging part is probably jumping from assignment to assignment and keeping track of what is on the go and needs to be delivered.
What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?
I think the most important qualities for success in my role are being hardworking and curious about the work you are doing. I try to ask as many questions as possible about what I’m doing and putting in the hours when it’s needed.
