Dean Williams
Manager
Dean has recently joined Wisteria and he is very excited about working in the company as the Outsourced Business Manager.
Before joining Wisteria Dean has 14 years’ experience dealing with limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, personal tax returns and capital gains tax. Dean manages a team within the department and enjoys working with the other departments in the company.
Hobbies include travelling whenever possible, lots of different sports and spending time with my young family.
What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?
I had a job before I decided to become an accountant that wasn’t really what I wanted, so I was always good at maths and I started on the study path to become an accountant, as this seemed a good way to progress my career.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?
Although I am very new, my team are already very supportive and helpful. So, I would say my colleagues are a big plus, the challenging side would be there does seem to be some similar issues with some of the clients.
What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?
Honesty, integrity and keeping a good working relationship with the team and clients, plus increasing our budgeted target so we all get a bonus.
