What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?

At university I studied modules in corporate finance and accounting, and these were the areas that I found myself particularly interested in. Audit felt like a clear choice in career for me to work in a role where I could apply these skills as well as working in a role in which I could develop a thorough understanding of how a business is ran.

What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?

What I enjoy most about my job is the variation of clients and tasks that I can work with, which alongside the support of my colleagues allow me to continue my professional development. The most challenging part of the role is managing the workload of handling multiple different tasks at one time.

What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?

I think the most important quality of my role is to be organised. In my work I always try to keep on top of my outstanding tasks and responsibilities and plan when I will complete each one, which allows me to effectively undertake numerous tasks without becoming overwhelmed.
