Alex Chohan
Associate
Alex joined Wisteria in October 2024 and works within the Audit & Assurance department.
Alex studied History at the University of Durham. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing various sports, playing games and meeting up with friends.
What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?
I have always been interested in finance and numbers, and working in an audit role allows me to quickly develop my skills and understanding across different sectors in the industry, while also providing a challenge in my first role since completing university.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?
My favourite part of the job is working with the team in an environment that is both fun and professional and having the opportunity to work on something different every day. The most challenging part is having to balance lots of different assignments and ensuring that deadlines across these assignments are met.
What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?
The most important qualities are communication, both with clients and within the team to balance multiple assignments, as well as being determined in completing your work and developing as an associate.
