Associate
Ting joined Wisteria in December 2023 and works within the Tax department as an Associate.
Ting holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology, pursued MSc in International Business Management at university of Surrey, and Accounting and Finance at BPP. She qualified as an ACCA affiliate in March 2023. In her free time. she enjoys cycling, hiking, dancing and exploring seaside towns.
What led you to pursue a career in your current role, and how did you get started in the field?
My journey into the tax field began after completing my ACCA exams, where I discovered my passion for tax. Currently employed as a tax associate at Wisteria, I'm actively pursuing additional coursework and certifications in this field to expand my expertise and better serve our clients.
What do you enjoy most about your job, and what do you find most challenging?
I enjoy assisting clients with their tax issues and offering them solutions tailored to their needs. While keeping up with the constantly changing tax rules can be challenging, it's also what makes the job interesting. Managing the workload can also be tough, but with a supportive team, we tackle it together effectively.
What do you believe are the most important qualities for success in your current role, and how do you strive to embody those qualities in your work?
The keys to success in my role are attention to detail, being well-organised and strong communication skills. I keep detailed schedules and task lists to stay organised. I also prioritise continuous learning and clear communication to excel in my work.
